Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?

I got a contract offer for 6 months as a marketing coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
