Temp-to-hire offer, worth it?

I got a contract offer for 16 months as a delivery driver and I am unsure whether to accept. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have 11 months of savings left. What would you do?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
