Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - 9 months and counting

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. It has been weighing on me all week. I have 9 months of savings left. What would you do?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
