Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - 6 months and counting

I got a contract offer for 17 months as a security officer and I am unsure whether to accept. Any experience at all would help. The contract could extend.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
