Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - 4 months and counting

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I have 4 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
