Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - 4 months and counting

I got a contract offer for 17 months as a nurse's aide and I am unsure whether to accept. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The contract could extend. What would you do?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
