Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - 21 weeks in

I got a contract offer for 3 months as a dental hygienist and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The contract could extend. How did you handle benefits?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
