Temp-to-hire offer, worth it? - 18 weeks in

I got a contract offer for 15 months as a medical assistant and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have 9 months of savings left. How did you handle benefits?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
