Salary expectations: how do you answer? - what worked for you?

Gabriel Halvorsen · 2026-09-12T10:22:07.369Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a procurement assistant. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. I looked up ranges in Buffalo and they vary a lot. Does giving a range hurt?
