Salary expectations: how do you answer? (update)

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I looked up ranges in Richmond and they vary a lot.

Benefits matter too. A slightly lower rate with better coverage was better for me.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
