Salary expectations: how do you answer?, recruiter here

Oskar Jansen · 2026-07-27T00:21:37.961Z

I have been out of work for 3 weeks and feel pressure to accept less. I am in Portland, in case local advice matters. I also do not want to sell myself short. How do you research fairly?

Check several sources for pay in Portland, then pick a range where the low end is one you can live with.
