Salary expectations: how do you answer?, mechanic here

Dara Winters · 2026-05-25T06:56:31.516Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a mechanic. It has been weighing on me all week. I looked up ranges in Nashville and they vary a lot. What did you say?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
