Salary expectations: how do you answer? - any advice?

Yara Winters · 2026-07-25T08:53:07.684Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a warehouse supervisor. It has been a long 14 weeks. I looked up ranges in Portland and they vary a lot. How do you research fairly?

Check several sources for pay in Portland, then pick a range where the low end is one you can live with.
