Salary expectations: how do you answer? - any advice?

Casey Okonkwo · 2026-08-03T03:23:38.944Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a logistics coordinator. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I looked up ranges in Portland and they vary a lot. How do you research fairly?

Benefits matter too. A slightly lower rate with better coverage was better for me.
