Salary expectations: how do you answer? - any advice?

I have been out of work for 8 weeks and feel pressure to accept less. I worked as a warehouse supervisor before this. I do not want to price myself out.

Asking about the range for the role first worked for me. Some recruiters share it.

Benefits matter too. A slightly lower rate with better coverage was better for me.
