Salary expectations: how do you answer? after 14 years as a pharmacy technician

Jamie Marchetti · 2026-05-08T18:13:44.493Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a pharmacy technician. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I also do not want to sell myself short. How do you research fairly?

Asking about the range for the role first worked for me. Some recruiters share it.
