Salary expectations: how do you answer? after 12 years as a delivery driver

Carlos Whitfield · 2026-06-15T07:38:29.356Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a delivery driver. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I looked up ranges in Charlotte and they vary a lot. What did you say?

Asking about the range for the role first worked for me. Some recruiters share it.
