Salary expectations: how do you answer? - 10 months and counting

Umar Winters · 2026-05-05T15:18:57.384Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as an accounts payable clerk. It has been a long 9 weeks. I do not want to price myself out. How do you research fairly?

Check several sources for pay in Atlanta, then pick a range where the low end is one you can live with.
