Returning to work after caring for family - what worked for you?

I stepped out for 3 months to care for a family member and now want to return. Any experience at all would help. I want flexible hours. Are there returnship programmes?

I began with part-time temp work, which helped me get back into the rhythm.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
