Returning to work after caring for family (update)

I used to work as an administrative assistant and I am looking for a part-time role to start. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I want flexible hours. How did you get back in?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
