Returning to work after caring for family - first time posting

I stepped out for 7 months to care for a family member and now want to return. Any experience at all would help. I want flexible hours. Are there returnship programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
