Returning to work after caring for family - first time posting

I stepped out for 6 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have been taking an online course. Are there returnship programmes?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
