Returning to work after caring for family - any advice?

I stepped out for 11 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I want flexible hours. Are there returnship programmes?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
