Returning to work after caring for family - 7 months and counting

I stepped out for 7 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I am in Memphis, in case local advice matters. I am unsure how to describe the break. How did you get back in?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I began with part-time temp work, which helped me get back into the rhythm.
