References when my manager was laid off too (update)

Diego Jansen · 2026-04-16T08:20:53.429Z

The company closed and I am not sure how to reach former colleagues. I am in Louisville, in case local advice matters. HR only confirms titles and dates. Is a client acceptable?

I kept a note of my results so my references could be specific. They appreciated it.
