References when my manager was laid off too, payroll clerk here

The company closed and I am not sure how to reach former colleagues. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. A colleague offered to vouch for me. Who did you use?

I kept a note of my results so my references could be specific. They appreciated it.

Use a professional network to find a former manager. Many will still write a note.
