References when my manager was laid off too - any advice?

Idris Voss · 2026-09-06T17:09:46.083Z

The company closed and I am not sure how to reach former colleagues. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. A colleague offered to vouch for me. How do you ask politely?

I kept a note of my results so my references could be specific. They appreciated it.
