References when my manager was laid off too - 3 weeks in

Jordan Castellano · 2026-06-25T10:23:43.514Z

The company closed and I am not sure how to reach former colleagues. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have one former client who liked my work. How do you ask politely?

I kept a note of my results so my references could be specific. They appreciated it.
