Re-entering the job market after caregiving - what worked for you?

I stepped out for 3 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. I am unsure how to describe the break. Are there returnship programmes?

I began with part-time temp work, which helped me get back into the rhythm.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
