Re-entering the job market after caregiving - what worked for you?

I stepped out for 7 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am unsure how to describe the break. How did you get back in?

I began with part-time temp work, which helped me get back into the rhythm.
