Re-entering the job market after caregiving - 5 months and counting

I stepped out for 5 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have been taking an online course. Are there returnship programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
