Re-entering the job market after caregiving

I stepped out for 3 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I am in Denver, in case local advice matters. I am unsure how to describe the break. How did you get back in?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
