Preparing for my first interview in 9 months (Raleigh)

It has been 9 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I am in Raleigh, in case local advice matters. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.
