Preparing for my first interview in 9 months after 17 years as a hotel front-desk agent

It has been 9 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I worked as a hotel front-desk agent before this. I want to come across as confident and honest. How do you prepare answers?

Arrive early, drink water and take a slow breath before you walk in. It sounds simple but it helps.
