Preparing for my first interview in 8 months - what worked for you?

It has been 8 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The role is similar to my old job as a production planner. How do you prepare answers?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
