Preparing for my first interview in 7 months - 7 months and counting

It has been 7 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I am in Tucson, in case local advice matters. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
