Preparing for my first interview in 2 months - any advice?

It has been 2 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I worked as a mechanic before this. I want to come across as confident and honest. How do you prepare answers?

Prepare three stories with a clear beginning, action and result, and adapt them to the questions.
