Preparing for my first interview in 12 months - what worked for you?

I have an interview on Wednesday and my stomach is in knots. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.
