Preparing for my first interview in 12 months, security officer here

I have an interview on Tuesday and my stomach is in knots. I worked as a security officer before this. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

Arrive early, drink water and take a slow breath before you walk in. It sounds simple but it helps.
