Pivoting from teaching assistant to something new (update)

After 5 years as a teaching assistant I am thinking about moving into a different field. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a little time and a small budget for training. How did you start?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.
