Pivoting from teaching assistant to something new - 8 weeks in

After 9 years as a teaching assistant I am thinking about moving into a different field. My family is supportive but nervous.

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
