Pivoting from store manager to something new - 19 weeks in

After 6 years as a store manager I am thinking about moving into a different field. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.
