Pivoting from software tester to something new - 11 months and counting

I want to move from software tester to something with more stability. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a little time and a small budget for training. Did you take a pay cut?

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.
