Pivoting from office manager to something new - 13 months and counting

After 8 years as an office manager I am thinking about moving into a different field. It has been a long 15 weeks. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. How did you start?

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.
