Pivoting from medical assistant to something new

After 16 years as a medical assistant I am thinking about moving into a different field. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. How did you start?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
