Pivoting from marketing coordinator to something new (update)

My layoff made me rethink whether to stay in my field. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
