Pivoting from machine operator to something new after 7 years as a machine operator

I want to move from machine operator to something with more stability. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a little time and a small budget for training. How did you start?

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
