Pivoting from insurance claims processor to something new after 14 years as an insurance claims processor

My layoff made me rethink whether to stay in my field. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a little time and a small budget for training. Has anyone made a similar move?

I began with informational chats, then a short online course, then a related entry-level role. It took about 13 months.
