Pivoting from hotel front-desk agent to something new - what worked for you?

I want to move from hotel front-desk agent to something with more stability. I worked as a hotel front-desk agent before this. I have a little time and a small budget for training.

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
