Pivoting from hotel front-desk agent to something new after 16 years as a hotel front-desk agent

After 16 years as a hotel front-desk agent I am thinking about moving into a different field. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. Has anyone made a similar move?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
